In 2014, thanks to the supports of Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca and the City of Camaiore, La Bottega del Teatro has given birth to Mix-Up, a meeting for acting schools for children, young and adultes.

Mix-Up lasts three days, usually in the last week of October, and it takes place at Teatro dell’Olivo in Camaiore (LU): during these days, classes from all over Italy can meet and cross over each other doing workshops, shows and debates.

The idea is to create a net among acting schools in order to compare pedagogical thoughts, artistic points of view, social needs. The grate innovative aspect of Mix-Up is that, during each activity, the theatre is open to the citizens in order to create a trade union between professionals and non-professionals.
